This shea butter was probably the thickest and richest shea butter I've ever tried! It was packaged well and I enjoyed the card providing details on where it was made. It went on smoothly and stayed on through multiple hand washes. I do have to admit I didn't particularly like the smell of it, it was a bit spicy for my taste. But overall it's a great choice for someone looking for high quality shea butter!

Campaign Overview
Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace sells handmade, fair-trade goods sourced directly from artisan cooperatives in Ghana. Like many up-and-coming brands, Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace found that getting in front of new shoppers was a persistent challenge. They ran a Reviewers.com campaign to introduce their new product to a new audience and collect video content for ads. They completed their campaign with a new audience and high-quality footage for ads.
The challenge
Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace is a small operation run by Nana, her husband, and her daughter. The marketplace connects artisans in Ghana directly to consumers, with the goal of reducing middlemen and building relationships between artisans and shoppers. But reaching new shoppers was a constant challenge. They needed a way to connect the artisans and their products with shoppers who'd never heard of them before.
The strategy
Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace ran a Reviewers.com campaign around their new Natural Shea Butter. The strategy was twofold: gain brand awareness by getting the new product in front of the Reviewers.com community, an entirely new audience, and collect authentic feedback on the product in video form that they could use to expand their reach through ads.
The campaign
Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace found the campaign extremely easy to set up. Within minutes, they were able to set up and launch their campaign. They gifted 10 products and received 10 video reviews back. "The campaign was very easy to set up, the reviews came in quickly, and there were some really good, thoughtful reviews."
The outcome
With 10 high-quality videos in hand, Nana now has the footage she needs for ads. Beyond the content, the campaign itself created awareness. By tapping into the full Reviewers.com community, she unlocked a completely new audience. Every single person who came across her campaign was being introduced to Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace for the very first time.
Nana is already planning her next campaign. "It's a great way to help small businesses like myself," she said. "I hope to use Reviewers.com to get our brand out there so people can see what we do."
