How UltraWoof used review seeding to launch a new product with instant credibility

February 24, 2026

Campaign Overview

When UltraWoof launched their Paw Cleanser Set, they had zero reviews and a tight budget. One Reviewers.com campaign later, they had 7 video reviews, standout content for their website and social channels, and a ridiculously low cost per video.

The challenge

With a new product and zero reviews, UltraWoof needed a way to show shoppers what the Ultrawoof Paw Cleanser actually looks like on a real dog.

UltraWoof had been down the paid creator road before, spending $80 to $150 per video review. It worked, but the cost made it unsustainable. But even more importantly, they realized that to convince shoppers, they needed reviews from real dog parents with genuine reactions that shoppers would trust on a product page.

The strategy

UltraWoof decided to run a Reviewers.com campaign around the Paw Cleanser launch. The goal was simple: get a few genuine reviews live on the website before the product had any traction.

Their briefing approach was intentionally minimal. No scripts or talking points. Just a card tucked into each order with some background on why the product was created, giving enough context to let Reviewers do their thing naturally.

The campaign

UltraWoof set up and launched their campaign quickly on the Reviewers.com platform, and reviews started rolling in within days. What made the process even easier is that orders and reviews were managed directly in their store. “It’s really easy because everything happens natively through Shopify, so there was no separate platform to navigate,” says Kathy.

Kathy was also impressed with how natural the reviews felt. The best of the bunch, according to Kathy, was a reviewer named Angelie, who took her dog Bailey for a walk and filmed the whole thing, showing exactly how the product works in a way that felt completely unscripted.

Another reviewer demonstrated the product on their puppy, raved about the plant-based ingredients, and showed how easy it is to refill the bottle.

By the end of the campaign, UltraWoof had multiple videos ready to publish and a few earmarked for social media, all from a single campaign that cost less than two paid creator clips.

The outcome

UltraWoof received seven video reviews from real dog lovers with authentic content, ready to use on the product page, in social posts, and in ads.

UltraWoof is already planning its next campaign. “I totally see the value in the campaigns, and I’m definitely interested in getting a few more reviews on the website.”

FAQs

How much does it cost?

You can try your first campaign for free. Each campaign thereafter costs $100. If you’d like to plan for multiple campaigns, we’d be happy to learn more about your needs and build a plan that suits you. Please contact us here.

How does the quality control work?

Every Reviewer goes through an approval process before joining the community, and every submitted video gets screened by AI for lighting, audio, product visibility, and the quality of the feedback. If a video doesn’t hit the mark, the Reviewers get specific notes on what to improve and must submit a new video. So you’re not stuck with content that doesn’t work.

Do the Reviewers know they’re getting the product for free? Is that FTC compliant?

Yes and yes. Reviewers.com is built around a transparent gifting model with disclosures built in, so every review is FTC compliant by design.

How long does a campaign take?

Plan for roughly 2 to 3 weeks from launch to completed reviews. The Reviewers.com team looks over your campaign before it goes live. From there, Reviewers order directly from your Shopify store and submit their videos once they’ve received your product and taken some time to try it.

Can I use the videos beyond my product page?

Yes. With Reviewers.com, you own full rights to every video. UltraWoof is planning to use their content across their website, social channels, and future marketing. Product pages, email campaigns, paid ads — it’s yours to use wherever it makes sense.

How many completed reviews can I expect from a campaign?

Reviewers.com campaigns run at around 80% completion, which is industry-leading for gifting campaigns. UltraWoof’s 10-item campaign came back with 7 completed video reviews, exceeding their expectations.
